Ayesha Takia Azmi has been an actor in Hindi films since 1986. Ayesha Azmi won the Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for the starring role of the title role in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It was also her first acting role. Following that, she was featured in several popular movies including Paathshaala 2010. Wanted and 2009's Salaam-E-Ishq 2007 as well as Socha Na Tha 2010. The first commercial she appeared in was for Complan, a well-known beverage that promotes good health. Shahid Kapoor and she were in the iconic commercial "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". In the remix song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin she also made an appearance. The song became a massive hit in India at the time of remixes. She began receiving invitations to play in Bollywood movies. Takia had been scheduled to appear on Socha Na Tha due to delay in production, only discovered about Taarzan following her first appearance. Ayesha displayed moral courage in criticizing her politician husband Abu Azmi, a Samajwadi Party politician. Ayesha declared her veganism in public, when she was a part in PETA's advertisement for India. The year 2006 saw her listed in the list of Most Popular Indian women. Ayesha Takia's cheeks are puffy, big eyes and an enlarged lip all indicate plastic surgery. It's heartbreaking to realize that her fans are so dissatisfied with their favourite actress.
